Ceola holds a special place in our hearts, and will be sadly missed. He was there when my dad needed him most. A very good hearted man and a good friend to our family.
Ceola Earl Barnhill, 81, of Marion, Indiana passed away July 5th 2018 in Marion, Indiana. He was born July 16th 1936 to the late Ceola Barnhill and Catherine Davis in Sturgis, Kentucky. He was known for frequenting resale shops. So much so, every employee even knew his name. He thoroughly enjoyed gospel music, was a great cook who’s recipes will be greatly missed, he also loved to play cards even when he was losing he could not help but cast the biggest of smiles, and above all he was a man of God who loved his lord and savior with all his heart.
Ceola is survived by his spouse of 23 years, Sue Barnhill; his son Ceola (Melissa) Helm; daughter Deidre Whitlock; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many cousins; many nieces and nephews; and two sister in laws, Janet Barnhill and Kimberly Dillon.
